Wendy Budde, CPM®
Director of Property Management
Wendy serves as CFI’s Director of Real Estate Management; she leads the property management team to ensure best industry practices are being implemented and clients’ real estate goals are met and exceeded. Wendy joined CFI in 2017 as an Associate Property Manager. She immersed herself in the role and quickly developed her knowledge of commercial property management. She has earned the trust of her clients by anticipating their needs and providing exceptional customer service.
She started her career in property management when she moved to Oceanside in 2004 as a military spouse. Wendy led a team of over 30 employees and managed a community of over 1,400 homes for over 12 years for the Marine Corps. Wendy’s love for the military community, charismatic leadership, and efficient management of multimillion dollar budgets earned her many coveted company awards including the first company’s Legacy award. Wendy has had an active California Salespersons Real Estate License since 2016.
Wendy came to the United States when she was 12 years old in search of the American dream. She did not let the separation from her family or language barrier prevent her from achieving her goals. Wendy has degrees in Finance and in Business Management and holds both the CPM® (Certified Property Manager) and ARM® (Accredited Residential Manager) from the Institute of Real Estate Management® (IREM). Since 2020, she has volunteered at IREM’s San Diego Chapter as the Director of Membership and is an active member of their Toastmasters Club serving on the board as VP of Education.
Originally from Nicaragua, Wendy loves to go back to visit her native home with her husband and son. She also enjoys running and exercise classes and has ran in over 10 half marathons.
