Mike Paeske CCIM, CPM®

As CEO of CFI, Mike Paeske is responsible for overseeing the strategic direction and performance of the firm. He leads a team of commercial real estate professionals in providing best-in-class Property and Asset Management, Trust Asset services and Net Leased Management solutions. His core focus is the expansion of business opportunities, service offerings, and client satisfaction through the delivery of unparalleled, value-add services.

Mike has significant experience in all company service lines, and practices a player/coach approach to leading and engaging the CFI team. Mike began his career at CFI as a Property Manager in 2004, and quickly rose through the ranks to Vice President, Senior Vice President, Executive Vice President and President. Mike’s experience includes turning around inefficiently managed properties, complex lease and sale transactions, as well as joint venture and partnership formation. His specialty is property operations specifically focused on enhancing value through efficient asset management, change of use and/or repositioning through property renovations, façade replacements and entitlements for new development. In 2015, Mike launched the Net Leased Management™ division of CFI to provide cost effective management services to the net leased and modified net leased industry on a nationwide basis.

Prior to CFI, Mike worked at leading financial services firms, providing strategic investment management and brokerage services, maximizing returns for clients. Mike has obtained the CPM® (Certified Property Manager) designation from IREM® as well as the CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) designation, and is a member of ICSC (International Council of Shopping Centers).

Mike is a native San Diegan, having grown up in Encinitas, and continues to live in North County with his wife, daughter and son. Mike is an outdoor enthusiast and spends his free time skiing, paddle boarding, surfing, mountain biking and traveling with his family.
