Giovanna Garcia, CCIM, CPM®, ACoM

Giovanna joined CFI in 2018 and manages a mixed portfolio consisting of retail centers, office buildings, and industrial facilities. She handles the day-to-day management of the properties, including building operations, contract negotiation, tenant management, capital project management, risk management, and financial analysis. Armed with her unique ability to think like an owner, she works closely with all of her building owners with the emphasis of adding value and increasing the NOI. To accomplish these goals, she is also very active in lease negotiation and management of net lease and triple net lease (both with and without caps), gross office lease, and reciprocal easement agreements.

Prior to CFI, Giovanna worked in the management of high rise properties in downtown San Diego. Giovanna has obtained the CPM® (Certified Property Manager) designation from IREM® and is currently pursuing the CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) designation. In addition, she is a licensed real estate salesperson in California.

Giovanna’s life adventure began at the age of 16 when she left Hong Kong with her parents’ blessings to complete her education in the U.S. One of her most memorable moments is becoming a U.S. citizen – she is proud to be an American! Giovanna has lived in San Diego County since 2006. She loves spending time with her family and friends, pampering her dog, reading, exploring new restaurants, and traveling.
