CFI has been providing Asset and Property Management services to the ownership of this almost 90k square foot community shopping center in Escondido, CA, since 2017. The central location provides easy access to freeways and strong retail demographics with notable anchors such as Michael’s, Barnes & Noble, Firehouse Subs and Cocina del Charro. CFI worked with the client to evaluate the highest/best use potential for the retail spaces, relocating one tenant and repositioning another to a larger space, which opened an end cap space for a restaurant. Additionally, CFI adjusted the building signage to increase visibility from the street. The result of these strategic changes is an increased rental rate for the owner, coupled with a 96% occupancy rate.
